Will Lippert Motor 141893 Replace Atwood 71113 on 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

Hello, My fifth wheel has the old Atwood 5k landing gear setup, and the motor really takes its time moving up and down these days. Id like to replace the motor part 71113 and from other QandA here, I saw a Lippert motor suggested as a one-to-one replacement. Those questions were about a pop-up camper though. Would that Lippert motor fit onto my landing leg assembly, so I can just pop the old motor off and put the Lippert right in its place? I dont want to go down the road of replacing the whole assembly. Thanks!

Yes, the the Lippert Components Tuson High Speed 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear Motor # LC141893 will absolutely work to replace the Atwood 71113 motor on your fifth wheel. Motors are very much interchangeable so the fact that one was on a camper and yours is on a fifth wheel isn't going to factor into if it will work or not so you're good to go!
