Will the Thule GateMate Pro Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack Really Fit a 2019 Honda Ridgeline

I really need a tailgate pad. Online it says 2019 honda ridgline tailgate specs for width is 51 inches. This bike pad is 53 inches and your site says it fits? Is this accurate?

Yes, I can confirm the Thule GateMate Pro Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack part # TH823PRO is a fit for a 2019 Honda Ridgeline. In fact, we even tested the older Thule GateMate Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack on this model which was the same size and I have attached that video for you. I would be a bit caution of looking for measurements online as you never really know where they are taken. That said, I appreciate you doing your own research but there is no need to worry about this one as the Thule GateMate Pro Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack will fit just fine.
Furthermore, I looked at other options we have which are actually a bit longer/wider, the Softride Tailgate Pad Bicycle Transporter part # SR26461 and Swagman Tailwhip Tailgate Pad and Bike Rack part # S64761 which have been confined as well.
