Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty With Prep Package

Question:

My 2020 Ford F-350 with the fifth wheel hitch prep package needs a 7-way to tow. I see there are a couple Bargman harnesses and one is only for the fifth wheel prep? Will both work or which one do you recommend for the 2020 F-350 with the pucks?

The recommended fifth wheel/gooseneck wiring harness for your 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty with the factory prep package is the Bargman 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness for Aluminum Truck Bed # 54701-007-010.

The reason for that is when I have contacted Bargman about this issue in the past, they told me that while the other harness, part # 50-97-410-010, will work with a Ford F-350 with the fifth wheel prep package, there have been very, very rare occasions where it can read a trailer is connected when it is not.
