Do Galvanic Isolator Strips of Reese Fifth Wheel Rail Kit RP56017-53 Have to be Used

Question:
Is there a substitute for the galvanic isolator strips? Curious if regular electrical tape or anything else will suffice. Thanks.

The isolator strips that come with the part # RP56017-53 should be used when installing this rail kit. There's not telling how long electric tape would hold up so to prevent damage to your truck I would not recommend using it instead of the strips.
