Question:
I am looking to connect this camera to my salt spreader on my truck would this connection work?

I have a solution for you, but you're not going to be able to use the # RVS-OA04 in order to connect to a camera with a 4 pin female connection. We also do not have a 4 pin male to 5 pin male adapter available that would allow you to bridge the gap.
Instead, you can use the Rear View Safety Backup Camera # RVS-770 and connect that to the # RVS-OA04 to create a backup camera with a connection to your 2016 or Newer Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra. The Rear View Safety camera has the correct connections to work with the RVS-OA04 adapter. This is a cost friendly alternative that will allow you to wire a video feed from your backup camera to the video capable stereo in your truck.
