Can Reese Sidewinder Be Used With B&W Companion Slider While Slid Back

So I am looking to purchase a 5th Wheel, it is a 29ftwss Winnebago Voyage. I currently have a 2014 Ram 2500 with a Hillsboro 7 Foot Flat Bed on it. It is a 38000 Series with a gooseneck in it. BandW makes a Companion kit for the goose neck for Hillsboro. My issue is that from where the King Pin would be place to close to the back of my headache rack that is welded on. There would only be 24 inches, the trailer I am looking at would require around 50 inches to be able to do a full 90 degree pivot. I know the sidewinder gives you 22 inches which would put me at 46 inches. I was wondering if the BandW Companion Slider which would give me 12 more inches of play would be compatible with the Sidewinder if I need to do a 90 degree pivot. I know that Reese says the Sidewinder is not recommended with a sliding hitch, I am not sure why it would be an issue to have a slider like the Companion extended during slow maneuvers. Any help would be great and if that will not work then I will need to start looking in a new direction. Thank you.

I do have an option for you but bottom line is you won't be able to make full turns with your truck as is no matter which hitch or pin box you use. The B&W Companion Flatbed Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter part # BWRVK3050 is your best and really only option that provides 12" of travel. That said, you can get a few more inches by adjusting the pivot arms as well. The ability to make full turns is not needed as much as one would think but is something to consider when weighing your options.
In regards to a Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret like part # RP61450, these cannot be used with any sort of 5th wheel hitch that attaches to a single connection point and the hitch must not be slid back while using this pin box.
