Question:

I bought these to replace the clearance lights on my camper. Im having trouble figuring out how to waterproof them when installing. There are multiple notches around the edges that would let water in. I can apply sealant and that would probably work but it seems like theres something about this design that Im missing. Should I be using a grommet, bezel or housing ?

There really isn't an effective way we can recommend to water proof the # 425600 that you referenced.

You can try sealing it but since this is not a light that's considered submersible it's not guaranteed you wouldn't have problems. Better option is a light that is submersible like the # MCL48AB which does not require any additional sealing.
