Locking knob missing from a used rack I purchased and bought the locking knob per the parts breakdown. Question , how does it attach to the rack?

The Replacement Locking Anti-Rattle Knob # 753-0073 will simply screw on to the anti-rattle hitch pin at the base of the rack. If you have a Thule Lock core you'll need to make sure it is in the unlocked position in order to install the knob-this is an anti-theft feature that prevents the knob from being engaged when locked.

If you need a lock core like the Replacement Lock Cylinder # THLOCKN070 you can use this to keep your Thule Apex 4 XT # TH9025XT secure.
