Troubleshooting Trailer Suspension Where Rear Spring Does Not Sit Level
Published 10/10/2019 >
Question:
How can I correct that. Would more weight on that axle then the front cause that? Boat trailer tandem axles rear axle leaf springs are not sitting level
asked by: Thomas
Expert Reply:
Sounds like your trailer isn't sitting totally level which is causing the equalizer of your tandem axle suspension to be angled which then makes the leaf spring look like it's not level. What allows a trailer to sit level is going with a ball mount that has the correct rise/drop. I attached a help article that details how to accomplish this.
If you could send me a picture of the setup I could check it out and see if I see anything else wrong.
