Can the Head On the B&W Companion Gooseneck Adapter Be Used On a B&W Companion OEM 25K Chevy Base

Question:

I have a companion slider with the single point turn over ball attachment i used in my 2017 Ram 2500. I have upgraded the tow vehicle to a 19 Silverado 3500 DRW with the OEM puck in the bed. It looks like i can change use the hitch head from my old set up on a replacement base RVB3700, but can i also use that head on teh RVB 3705 increasing the weight load of the hitch?

Yes, the Head Assembly for B&W Companion part # BWRVC3006 which comes with the B&W Companion Slider Adapter part # BWRVK3400 can be used with the Replacement Base for B&W Companion OEM Chevy/GMC part # BWRVB3700 or the Replacement Base for B&W Companion OEM Chevy/GMC part # BWRVB3705. The weight capacity of the system will come from the base, not the head therefore if you were to obtain the B&W Companion OEM Chevy/GMC part # BWRVB3705 you would have a 25,000 lb weight capacity.
