Question:
The steps are SCS/Frigette # 733-0001. That is the number that is on the manual. The only thing that seems to be the problem is that the steps will not work at all, or sometimes, or will work ok. I have tapped with a hammer around the steps sometimes and they will work. Then, sometimes they won't.. They move freely and are not bent or seized.

It could be a few issues. It could be a module issue, a motor issue, or a mechanical issue like a gear or linkage with a problem. Do you know which specific step brand and model you might have? Since there are quite a few out there it's hard to know what you might have on your Supreme. If you watch the steps when they are having a problem do you hear any noises or can you see anything out of the ordinary like a gear not engaging etc.?
