Question:

My bike rack is a 2 inch size. I’d like to avoid an adapter since I always hit my shin with it sticking out. What trailer hitch do you recommend?

For lighter duty vehicles like your 2014 Honda Accord we only have 1-1/4 inch hitches available as the 2 inch hitch size is for larger vehicles. So for your vehicle you need a hitch like the part # C11496 which is a Class I hitch.

A better option would be to upgrade your bike rack as it sounds like it only fits 2 inch hitches.
