Question:

I have a 2016 Ram with the puck system and a 8 foot bed with a curt C16046 hitch setup. looking at a 2019 ram with a 6 1/2 foot bed. that I would need a slider hitch. What would I need to convert my current hitch to a slider?

The only things that you would need to reuse the Curt A25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C16046 are the Curt R24 Round Tube Slider part # C16570 and the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider part # C16022. I know the Adapter Rail looks very similar to the one you have now but it is a bit different for the fixed/slider bases which is why you need to replace this as well but the A25 hitch head can be reused.
