Comparing B&W Companion, Curt A25, and Demo UMS Jaw Systems for 2022 Ram 3500

I, looking at between this hitch, BWRVK3600 the C16046 Curt A25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package and the DM67GV. My concern for the BandW is that the double jaw does not connect and looks to be the weakest spot which is also where most of the force will be. Are there any back ups or fail safes to keep the jaws from opening. I have a 2022 RAM 3500 dually, 8ft bed with the OEM puck system. Thanks

Great question, Jason.
The jaws on the BW Companion # BWRVK3600 don't overlap like the A25 # C16046, but they are a massive 1" thick and have never had a problem keeping hold of the king pin.
I personally like the jaw system of the Demco UMS # DM67GV the most because of the single jaw with that extra piece to keep it centered as well as the 3/4" bar just for peace of mind.
All 3 of these 5th wheel hitches are top-notch and provide great performance. Although I like the Demco design a little more (and is the one I recommend), it's hard not to recognize the B&W Companion as possibly the best simply just because of how popular it is on the market and we've basically heard nothing but praise for this system.
