Bike Rack for Two 2019 RadMini Step-Thru Electric Fat Bikes on Flat Towed Jeep Wrangler

Question:

I need a 2- bike rack that will fit on a jeep wrangler 2 door that is towed behind a class A motorhome. The bikes are 2019 Rad-mini step-thru electric folding fat bikes. Thanks,

For your application I recommend the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack for 2 Fat Tire E-Bikes # HLY64FR because it is rated for flat towing, has an impressive 80 lbs per bike weight capacity (so you don't have to remove your batteries), and is compatible with up to 5" wide tires. You just need to make sure that your bike tube diameter is within the 1" - 2" range for the grips and that you have at least 12" of clearance from the center of the hitch pin hole on your 2" Jeep trailer hitch to the outermost edge of your spare tire.

There are other options out there but they either cannot be used in a flat towing setup, they don't have the proper weight capacity, or they won't fit with your step-thru frame.

If you don't already have a trailer hitch please let me know what year your Jeep is and I can make a recommendation that will allow you to use this bike rack.

I have 2 ebikes that weigh 60lbs each. One is a 4" fat tire, the other is a 2.5" standard tire. Do you have the version of this Hollywood e-bike rack that has 1 fat tire and 1 standard set of wheel holders? I will be using on a Jeep Wrangler 4 door Sahara Unlimited with a 2" hitch.

The Hollywood Racks RV Rider mentioned above is really only designed for RV/trailer applications. For your Jeep Wrangler I instead recommend the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider # HR1450Z-E, which can handle bikes of up to 80 pounds each, along with the Fat Bike Adapter # HR89FR.

@BrianB I apologize, the Hollywood Racks RV Rider # HR1560 can indeed be used on your Wrangler that's being flat towed. This particular rack is just much more heavily built so that it can withstand the bumper ride it goes through in these types of applications (flat towed vehicle, trailer, RV, etc).
