Replacement Surge Brake Actuator Recommendations for Atwood 82541

Question:

I have an Atwood hitch p/n 82541 Disk brakes 3 inch wide alum sq tube 6000 lb max weight Looking for a direct replacement

I recommend either using the Demco 6K # DM8605101 if you want a standard actuator that fits a 2" hitch ball or the Titan 6K # T4745720 if you like the option of the coupler fitting with either a 1-7/8", 2", or 50 mm hitch ball. Both options have the same weight rating, fit on a 3" wide channel tongue, and have mounting bolts holes with 3" on center distances between them. I'm not exactly sure what the mounting bolt hole locations were for your Atwood 82541 actuator so if the bolt hole locations don't match up you can either use part # T4747900 which has multiple mounting holes or modify your trailer frame so that one of them fits.
