When you’re ready to install, this light surface mounts directly to your trailer body with mounting holes spaced 3" on center. The black ABS housing is tough enough for daily use and resists cracking or fading over time. Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this trailer clearance or side marker light with reflector. This is a DOT compliant incandescent trailer light, that's gonna serve as either a clearance light, or a side marker light when properly mounted. This is P2 rated, which means it's gonna produce a 45 degree angle of light to either side of its center line, for a total of 90 degrees of coverage. So the beam pattern can be seen straight on, but it's not gonna be as clear from the side. So this can work as either a side marker light, or a clearance light, but it cannot function as both, as you wanna make sure that you get it mounted properly.
This does have the red snap on acrylic lens over your 194 incandescent bulb, and that bulb can be easily replaced, if it ever goes out. The built-in reflector is going to remove the need for a separate reflector. So as I turned the light off there, you can see, we are going to have a bit of a reflective capability coming through. This does have a durable black ABS housing, so it's gonna hold up really well for you. This is compatible with your 12 volt DC systems.
It's gonna draw about 0.2 amps on your 12.8 volt system. It does have the two wire design with the 0.156 female barrels, so you can get this plugged right in place. This is a surface mount. The hardware to get this installed is not included, but I will give you a few measurements here, so you can see if this is gonna work for your application. Our overall length, it's gonna be right at four inches, our height, looking at just over two inches, we'll call it 2 1/16 of an inch tall, and then our depth, again, just over one inch, we'll call it 1 1/16 of an inch.
And then our mounting holes, center to center, are right at three inches. So if you are needing to replace your trailer's clearance or side marker light, this is gonna be a good option for you. Personally, I like the newer LED style. We have a lot of options for those here at etrailer.com. A lot of them are sonically sealed, so that they're submersible, so you don't have to worry, if you're putting them on your boat trailer, getting wet and that sort of thing.

We have a 2007 34' Fleetwood Expedition Diesel Motorhome. We were in need of two replacement lenses and bulbs, as the two modules on the rear of each side of the motorhome were weathered and cracked.
