Will the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller Work With An iPhone 4S

Question:

1. you say smart phone, but would it also work with an I Pad with Blue Tooth connectivity? 2. Have an elderly Apple 4-S, currently running IOS 9.3.6 do you know if that work, and do you know how much memory the control program uses? thanks in advance for your response

The Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 will work with both iPhones and iPads. That said, these devices will need to have an IOS of 8.0 or newer. Since you said your iPhone 4S has an IOS of 9.3.6 it will work just fine with the Curt Echo. The last I checked, the iPhone 4s is the oldest iPhone that can be used with the Curt Echo so you are in luck.

The ECHO Smart Control App requires 7.2 MB of space for installation as of August 2019.
