Could Blue Ox Base Plate Kit be Used as Recovery Point for Vehicle

Question:
Could this baseplate be used for the front recovery tow points that the Ford failed to provide on the 2015 - 2019 Transit 150 - 250 - 350 van? After all, it is designed for towing the van as a dinghy behind a tow vehicle.

Yes, while maybe not the most ideal recovery point you could use the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX2655 as a recovery point as it is designed to be strong enough to move the weight of the vehicle.
