Will RAB be Disabled When Installing Trailer Hitch on 2019 Subaru Ascent

After installing my hitch I turned on my car and got a RAB disabled error on my dash. Is this normal? Is there a way to enable it again? Did I mess something up with the installation? Subaru Ascent 2019 Touring

I took a look at the online owner's manual for a 2019 Subaru Ascent and it looks like the Reverse Automatic Braking System (RAB) can be disabled if the rear bumper has been removed and then reattached, which is what is required when installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch # 76253 on a '19 Ascent as opposed to a hitch like the Curt # C13400 which sits under the bumper.
