I have a Thule hitching post 4-bike rack, model 945. Will this hardware kit work for it? I didnt see 945 mentioned in the listing. I am seeking to replace the M12x40 bolt that attaches the rack to the receiver. Thanks.

Yes, the Hardware Bag # 7520990001 is what you are looking for. The replacement 12 x 40mm bolt that you are looking for is part # 908-1240-54 on our site. This is the exact part that fits your older Thule Hitching Post 945 bike rack. For the M12 washer you need # 951-1224-54 and for the M12 lock washer you need # 956122159. All of this (plus more) is included in the Hardware Bag # 7520990001 that you mentioned.
