What Would Cause Solera Power Awning to Blow Fuses Half Way Extended

Question:

Awning is running half way out and blowing 15 amp fuse Now is stuck half way out and blows new fuses soon as button is touched Any ideas On the road now so feed back would be great

Sounds like the awning is binding up around half way out which is causing the motor to try and work too hard and blowing the fuse. Take a look at the relative angle of the awning to the top of the RV. An out of level awning will bind up so there might be some adjustments needed.

One way to manually roll out a slide out awning is to use a power drill. There's a plug on the side of the awning head that allows a power drill to attach to so that you can power it in and out. I attached a picture that points it out.
