Replacement Tires and Wheels For 2016 Jayco Pop-up Camper 12UD

Question:
Hello, I have a 2016 Jayco Pop-up camper 12UD the size of the tire is ST145/R12 load E. They are 4 bolt, I cannot find a tire and rim in that size already assembled. Could I use a load D instead of a E? Can I also place a wheel and tire on 4 bolt?

Great News, The ST145/R12 tire size with load range E like # AM10140 can be paired with an aluminum wheel like part # AM22318HWT. These do not come mounted. You would need to have them mounted at a local shop upon arrival. The # AM22318HWT is a 4 on 4. If you need a 5-bolt wheel, the # LH45FR would work instead of the # AM22318HWT.
We normally do not recommend going down in load ranges from what the manufacturer put on the trailer but if the tire is properly rated for the weight of your Jayco then it shouldn't be a problem if you choose to do so.
If your original wheels are 4 on 4" bolt pattern the Kenda KR25 ST145R12 Radial Trailer Tire part # AM31208 is on a 4 on 4" bolt pattern wheel and is rated for 1,220 lbs per tire at 65 psi. The gross weight rating of your 2016 Jayco Pop-up Camper 12UD is 2,350 lbs so the load range D tires would be fine if you needed the 4 on 4" bolt pattern.
