Will the iRV RV Stereo IRV34 Replace a Concertone Genesis GT-3.0

Question:

I have a GT3 that was swapped out 3 times under warantee and now is dead again. This off season Im going to upgrade to something that will work a while longer. I appears the this unit is not as tall as the GT3. Has anyone else done this upgrade? What say you?

The Concertone Genesis GT-3.0 has the same double din mounting requirements which refers to the cutout dimensions needed for installation as the iRV RV Stereo part # IRV34. Therefore, the overall size of the unit may be smaller but this should not matter because they are both double din stereos (most stereos are classified by either single or double din).

The rest of the swap will consist of just splicing the new wiring harness onto the old.
