What is Shortest Cable Length for RV Sewer Dump Valve

Question:

I noticed the shortest dump valves with cables are 36 inches, is that true ? I really only need them maybe 15 to 20 inches long. Will they be ok if they are bent around in a circle in there because there so long or can they be shortened ? Thanks for any info, Do you have electric dump valves ?

The shortest cable length for the RV dump valves is 36 inches like the part # 34466N4AB36GM you referenced. You can loop the cable to take up the extra slack and it will work fine. The bigger the loop you can make the better as that will allow the cable to slide the easiest.

We do have an electric version of this with the part # E40-8 as well.
