If you don't already have a converter/smart charger then this is an excellent 45 amp option that has the following built-in safety features to protect your RV's electrical system:

- Current protection for reverse polarity, overheating, short circuiting, and over/under voltage
- Cooling fan controls the temperature of the converter and removes excess heat generated by the unit
- LED lights up to indicate blown fuses
