Can I get just the brake shoes or do i have to get the complete backing plate?

The replacement brake shoes or pads are available. For the brake assembly you referenced, use part # BP04-095. These brake shoes fit Dexter, Fayette, and Foreman brake assemblies. If your assembly was manufactured by Hayes, use part # BP04-100.
Each part number includes two brake shoes for 1 brake assembly.
