Question:
I have a duel spring trailer ramp door spring assembly that I am trying to replace on my enclosed trailer. At what points on the spring assembly do you measure to get the correct length?

Expert Reply:
In order to replace the ramp door spring on your enclosed trailer you will need to measure the distance between the mounting brackets. For example, the Enclosed Trailer Ramp Heavy Duty Spring part # CB250D96SHD has mounting brackets that can be adjusted to sit 80" - 96" apart. If you have mounting brackets outside of this range then please just let me know what that is so I can make sure your get the correct replacement ramp door spring.
