Roof Vent Cover for Dometic Create a Breeze

Re: Replacement Installation Hardware for Fan-Tastic Vents Ultra Breeze RV Roof Vent Cover - Item # K1520-09 We have two roof vents on our motorhome. The bathroom vent is a simple exhaust fan, covered by a black MaxxAir cover. I replaced that cover with a MaxxAir smoke covertabs were in place from previous cover. Our living room vent currently has no cover. Its a Create a Breeze by Dometic Fantastic Fan. Id like to use a smoke-colored MaxxAir cover to match the bathrooms, but Ive been advised by Dometic not to drill into the side of the vent. Am I correct in assuming that these tabs allow me to attach the MaxxAir cover to the Create a Breeze vent? Thank you for your help.

The Replacement Installation Hardware # K1520-09 that you referenced is compatible with the covers that would fit your Create a Breeze Fan-Tastic roof vent like the part # DMC38FR. I would recommend sticking with a Fan-Tastic cover for your vent as that's the same manufacturer and not to go with a MaxxAir style.
