How to Load Grease Gun Cartridge Into LubriMatic Economy Size Mini Grease Gun
Updated 06/21/2019 | Published 06/20/2019 >
Question:
This is my second L30100 grease gun and I cannot get either to work. I just wanted a gun to lube my John Deere lawn tractor - I assembled the gun. Inserted the grease cartridge, squeezed the handle repeatedly, and nothing? I did get the gun to spew grease out the bottom of the tool when I pulled on the small handle at the bottom of the canister. What is the procedure for loading the cartridge in the gun? Thanks

Make sure that the nozzle for the LubriMatic Economy Size Mini Grease Gun # L30100 is on nice and snug. Then you pull the plunger back, remove the cap from your grease cartridge and insert that into the grease gun tube with the end where the cap was at facing the plunger. Before connecting the tube back to the top piece be sure to either remove or poke a hole in the aluminum/foil piece on your cartridge. If you didn't take that last step then that would be the issue. Once the tube is connected back to the top piece you should be able to pump grease with your grease gun.
