Troubleshooting Curt Triflex Brake Controller that Shows Two Red Lines on Display

Question:

Hi, I have a Curt Triflex brake controller on my f-150 and it recently got an error code with two red lines. Which the manual indicates BATTERY POWER JUST CONNECTED OR ENGINE CRANKING. The entire drive back from camping I had no brakes because the two red lines never went away. Do you have a solution?

The Curt Triflex # C24VV is somewhat known for having internal bugs that make it act odd at times. The simple solution is to unplug the controller for a few seconds and then plug it back. This typically clears out the bugs and gets it working again. Try that and let me know if that fixes it.
