Hello, I am looking for towing mirrors for my 2016 ford Expedition and have two questions: 1. I see in one of your forums one of your experts recommend the k source ks3990 for my car, but when i go to that product page it says THIS ITEM IS NOT A FIT FOR 2016 Ford Expedition 2. In your opinion, why would no manufacturer produce mirrors for this car, there is clearly a demand for them?

Manufacturers will make custom-fit towing mirrors for very high sales volume tow vehicles, such as a Ford F-150 or Chevy Silverado pickups, but for other vehicles like SUVs (even popular ones like the Expedition) the sales volume potential is just not the same so use of universal-fit mirrors like the K-Source # KS3990 is the solution. These mirrors are not vehicle-specific; that is why you saw the message. But they will work on almost any mirror that has a gap between the glass and the mirror housing (for the clips to install) as shown in the linked photo.
If you'd like a very large towing mirror you might consider a door-mount set such as CIPA # 11650-2 or Wheelmasters # WM6600-2.
