Is the Bolt Hole Pattern for a Brake Assembly the Same as the Wheel

Question:

Is the bolt pattern you mention for the 4400 lb. axle the bolt pattern for the wheel

The 2-7/8" bolt pattern for the brake assemblies # AKEBRK-35R-SA and # AKEBRK-35L-SA as well as the 2-13/16" bolt pattern for the brake assemblies # 23-454 and # 23-455 has to do with where the mounting bolts are for the assemblies to the brake flange on your spindle (see attached photo).

The bolt pattern for your wheels has to do with the bolt locations on the hub and drum assembly. For example, the Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 8-407-5UC3-EZ that is rated for 4,400 lb axles has a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern. If you have 6 bolt holes on your wheel then you should have this bolt pattern but you can verify this by measuring from the center of one hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. If this measures 5-1/2" then this is the correct hub and drum assembly for you.
