Question:

I need to know the width of the top of this drain. When you say it is a 1 1/2inch drain, are you just referring to the threaded part? My current drain is about 2 3/4inch across the top, has a 1 1/2inch threaded shaft, and is a total of about 1 1/2inch tall.

The 1-1/2 inch diameter listed for the LaSalle Bristol RV Shower Drain # 34465CAR227G refers to the inside diameter on the threaded portion. I went out to our warehouse to take a look at the drain and measured a diameter of exactly 2-3/4 inches for the drain portion itself so it sounds like this particular unit matches your existing drain perfectly.
