Question:

Hi, i have a grab handle with no name noted on it that i can find. The manufacturer must be really proud of their units... Given no name, is there some dimension that you can provide to assist in determining if these parts will fit my unit? For example the tube width that this will accommodate? The concept of this part is identical to the one that came of my 2008 Keystone Sprinter Copper Mountain 5 wheeler, although it is most likely an add on from who knows where. Thank you for your help.

The Replacement Hardware Kit for Stromberg Carlson Lend-A-Hand and Mini Lend-A-Hand Grab Handles for RVs part # 1091 is an exact replacement part for the Stromberg Carlson Lend-A-Hand and Mini Lend-A-Hand grab handles as the title states, it is not really a retro-fit type of product so I am not sure I would have much advice on how to do so. However, I can confirm that the grab handle this kit is designed to work with has a 1" diameter.

That said, the best option for you would be to just replace the grab handle you have on your trailer now with the Lend-a-Hand Folding Grab Handle part # AM-200 or part # AM-800. These are pretty easy to install and would save you the headache of trying to modify the above to work for you.
