Backing Plate to Install Lend-a-Hand Folding Grab Handle

Question:
The Folding Handle states the below regarding installation: See also the product description and tech specs listed for this part. I copied and pasted what was written on your site. •Simple installation - mounts to RV door with 4 2inch screws included?May require drilling through the wall of your RV and use of long bolts with washers or a plate sold separately if a door stud cannot be found. My question is, where do I find the plate which is sold separately if a door stud cannot be found?

There isn't a specific plate but you could use backing plate # BPEZ or something similar. Without a door stud present the material of the trailer cannot support the stress of someone pulling on the handle. A plate will disperse the force to a larger area.
