How to Reset Curt Triflex Brake Controller that Brakes That Brakes too Long and Has Random Message

Question:

When driving and normal braking after 2- 3 sec of braking the controller switches to flashing DC message and trailer keeps braking an additional 10 seconds even after brake peddle is released, after brakes release, controller briefly returns to CC message and then to 2 dots ... HELP!!!

The Curt Triflex part # C24VV is known to have odd issues like what you described and the solution is to unplug it for a few seconds to reset it and then plug it back in. This resets the controller which will clear out the internal issue yours is having.
