Availability of Replacement Grease Seal 450133

Question:

I have a car trailer and I need axle grease seals the one that I got to replace one hub from OReilly auto parts number is 450133 is there a cheaper one than that it was 36.00 dollars each I need 3 more thanks.

Hi Dale, that seal has a 2.312" inner diameter and 3.376" outer diameter which isn't something we carry. Are you sure that is the correct grease seal for your trailer? Unless it is a really old trailer, or home built with mobile home axles, I would expect it to use a seal more like the # GS-2250DL with the same 3.376" outer diameter. The difference would be the inner diameter which is 2.25". I would measure your spindle where the grease seal rides to see if that is accurate before you spend more on 450133 seals.

Yes I think your right. I took the seal to a auto parts store and he match it up with one they had which was the 450133 one . I think he might have been off by some. So I need to measure it myself. Is there a good way of getting the seal out without damaging them so I can put it back in after measuring it.

@Dale all you need to do is pull the hub off and measure your spindle where the seal sits with a digital caliper # PTW80157. This shouldn't damage the existing grease seals since you're leaving them in the hub.
