interested in your receiver tubes the ones 36inch long X 2inch I.D. The Buyers product #337RT25836B an the Curt #C49360 . What is the O.D. an The wall thickness of each. Thank for your help

Buyers Products # 337RT25836B and Curt # C49360 are both 36-inch long 2 x 2-inch receiver tubes with a 5/8-inch hitch pin hole diameter. Both have an outside diameter of 2-1/2-inches.

I measured the two items' wall thickness with a digital caliper and found the Buyers tube to have a wall thickness of 0.23-inches and the Curt to have a wall thickness of 0.21-inches. The difference between the two is due to the
Buyers item having a black powder coat finish while the Curt has no painted finish that makes it better for welding.
