what is the max weight this 48inch bar can tow, i am going to use it in a custom set up and want to know what the max weight i can pull with this

Officially, Curt combo bar # C49480 doesn't have a capacity. Curt uses this bar when they build hitches rated up to 17,000 pounds. However, it depends on how it is integrated into the rest of the hitch, what it is going on, and how it and the whole assembly fabricated for it are attached.
