Question:
Is there any reason that I cant mount this in an upside down position? For example with the bolts gingo into it at the top. Will this hamper performance of the unit?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Derale Fluid Control Thermostat Kit w/ 3/8" NPT Ports # D13011 and the Transmission cooler # D13503 will work well on your 2013 Sienna. The thermostat is your fail safe, so I recommend putting it between your transmission and the secondary cooler. The thermostat will allow full oil flow whether the valve is open or closed so your transmission will get what it needs at all times and there won't be any pressurizing of hoses. The Mounting Bracket Kit for Derale Fluid Control Thermostats # D25793 will allow you to mount the thermostat to any desired location. Unfortunately I don't know your particular vehicle engine bay enough to give a specific recommendation.
