Pin Designations of the 7-way Round and the 7-way Flat on the 7-way Flat to Round Adapter
Published 01/17/2012 >
Question:
I have an older tractor with a 7 pin round outlet. It is not wired like a newer outlet. Can you give me a complete wiring diagram for this adapter? Ex: pin 1 in round to pin ? in flat connector. I need all of the pin assignments, please. Thanks,

I have attached a diagram that shows the pin designations for the 7-Pole Round to 7-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Adapter, # HM47425. I labeled the pins as they relate to the RV side 7-way blade connector. The 7-way round pin connectors typically have different pin functions than RV style 7-way blade connectors. You may want to make sure the 7-way connector on your tractor is wired properly to match the functions of the adapter to ensure everything works correctly on the trailer.
