Question:
Good evening folks, I am looking to get the Hollywood bike rack HR3000 for a 2014 Nissan Murano SL. After careful consideration I feel this suits my needs better than a roof rack system. My first questions are do you guys feel this is a decent bike rack for money and are tire mount racks as safe as frame mounts for long trips? Second, I will also be getting a trailer hitch to use this bike rack. I really like the matte black of the #e65AR better than the shiny curt. Can you tell me if you foresee any clearance issues when using these two products in tandem? Thank you for your help with this. I have asked several questions on here and have been very happy with the feed back!

Hollywood Racks bike racks have the market cornered when it comes to bike rack value. You get a very rock solid bike rack at a very great price. For anybody wanting to get a lot of bike rack quality and not break the bank the Hollywood Racks TRS # HR3000 option is the way to go. The overall built quality and ease of use is top-notch and they are very solid and stable in the hitch they are installed in on the road. I attached a test course and review video for more info on that as well.
The best hitch to use is the etrailer # e65AR for your 2014 Nissan Murano because this hitch does not require the use of a stabilizer strap like the Curt does for your vehicle when carrying a bike rack. This alone will save you so much hassle. You'd have plenty of clearance with this setup too.
