Question:

Will the handsfree lift gate still work with this hitch installed? If not installing a light kit using for bike rack only will the bumper facia still need to be removed?

Yes, the hands free lift gate sensors will still work on your 2018 BMW X2 with the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76200 installed. However, you will need to place your foot on either side of the receiver tube opening in order to trigger the sensor. Unfortunately, the rear bumper fascia must be removed no matter what you will be using the trailer hitch for as there is no way around this. This is what allows for the hidden design of the trailer hitch.
