Question:
Im nearing 70, female, and just had an Eas lift WDH installed on my Jayco Flight slx Baja 154BH dry weight 2700 lps, hitch weight 315, and my 2018 Rav4 Adventure can tow 3500lbs I am able, just barely, to lift and attach the wdh to my cars stinger. I love how stable the trailer feels towing it, but I wonder if there is any lighter weight option that wouldnt put my body at such risk?

According to my research, the Eaz Lift Weight Distribution System you have now weighs around 100 lbs in total. The best lightweight system we have for you is the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System part # RP66558 which only weighs around 70-75 lbs. However, you do not need to lift the entire weight of the system each time. The system can be installed so that the most you will be lifting at one time is around 40 lbs for the hitch head/shank. The individual spring bars can then be installed at around 10 lbs each.
In addition to the reduced weight, perhaps the biggest improvement you will see with the Reese Steadi-Flex is the integrated sway control which works much better than the friction style bar that comes with the Eaz Lift system. This also means you don't have to lift and install another heavy object onto the trailer each time.
Please note you will need to add a hitch ball to the Reese Steadi-Flex, part # 63845 for 2" or part # 63847 for 2-5/16".
