Torque Specs for Hex Bolts to Install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13534 on a Toyota Highlander

Question:

I’ve installed the tow hitch and followed the instructions but there’s no Torque rating for part #13534

The torque specs for the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13534 (that fits a 2008 - 2013 Toyota Highlander) can be found as step 5 on the second page of the attached installation instructions. Sometimes manufacturers might swap hardware out so that the hitch is compatible with a newer vehicle which changes the torque specs. This is why I am referencing the linked instructions instead of just posting the torque specs because there is a potential for change years down the road.
