Question:

Im looking for a replacement coupler for my 1997 prestige boat trailer . 6000lb weld on with drum breaks.

For a weld on option, Titan Weld on Brake Actuator part # T1607500 is a good option. The Titan Brake Actuator welds onto a 3" wide trailer tongue and takes a 2-5/16" ball. This actuator does not have a reverse lock out option. WIthout a reverse lockout you may not be able to backup the trailer without the brakes activating. If you have free backing brakes, you do not have to worry about that. We do not carry a standard ball coupler with electric lockout that is a weldon option.

I recommend to bolt on the actuator and use Titan Actuator part # T43397007K and # T4748800 for a reverse lockout. The actuator bolts to a 3" trailer tongue. One wire of the of the lockout solenoid needs to be grounded to the trailer frame. The other wire needs to be connected to the reverse light circuit on the trailer side connector.
