How Does the CE Smith Single Axle Trailer Fender Attach to the Trailer?

Is the bolting onto the trailer universal?

Hey Dean. Unless your trailer already has brackets, you'll want to use the CE Smith Galvanized Steel Step for Trailer Fender item # CE26212G to attach the CE Smith Single Axle Trailer Fender w/ Top and Side Steps item # CE19504 to your trailer. The slots in the top will attach to the frame using u-bolts and then you will drill new holes into the top plate to line up with the holes on the bottom of the fender once in position.
I've attached a couple of pictures below so you can see how the brackets attach.
