The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118778 that fits your 2019 Honda Ridgeline has fuses and they are required for this particular installation.
Thankfully the linked instructions make it very clear where the three fuses (which are included) need to go during the installation of this harness. Under the hood of your Ridgeline find the fuse panel and insert the pair of 7.5 amp fuses in Position 6 and Position 7. Following that you will install the 20 amp fuse in Position 9. The cut out from the directions displays where these fuses should go.
I have added a link to a video review of this harness for you to check out.
