Determining Weight Capacity of Yakima Round Bars on Tacoma Snugtop Rebel Topper

Question:

On my tacoma longbed have yakima rack with 58 inch roundbars on my 2016 snugtop rebel topper can u tell me how much weight i can put on that?

The Yakima 58" Round Bars # Y00409 by themselves have a weight capacity of 165 pounds, but it is important to also verify the weight capacity of the Snugtop Rebel itself. Based on my research this looks to be at least 175 pounds for the Snugtop Rebel Topper but I still recommend verifying this.

Since you are always limited by a setup's weakest component you will still need to follow the 165 pound capacity on the Yakima bars even if the topper can support more.
